What Is The Nurse Licensure Compact?

The Nurse Licensure Compact is a multi-state license that enables you to work as a travel nurse in any participating state. Currently, 41 out of 50 states recognize this type of license, but legislation is underway to include more states. Advocates are striving to make this a nationwide reality. Once achieved, travel nurses will have greater access to job opportunities across the country, and patients will benefit from improved access to care.
